Tecres confirms its role as an ambassador of Italian creativity by supporting the “67 Columns for the Arena di Verona” project

The universal languages of music and art that promote peace and beauty, a historic piece of architecture known and recognised as a symbol of Italy around the world, a physical and metaphorical space where people meet: by renewing its support for the fundraising project “67 Columns for the Arena di Verona”, now in its fourth year, Tecres has confirmed its desire to be an ambassador of Italian creativity. This is a role that it has been playing for over forty years, designing, manufacturing and distributing cutting-edge products for doctors and their patients in more than seventy countries. And it is a role that has been confirmed by joining forces with some of Italy’s most important businesses to contribute to the Fondazione Arena’s initiatives, first and foremost the opera season staged in the Arena di Verona.

A record amount of 2.1 million euros was raised in 2024, taking the total amount of funds that an ever-growing network of supporters has allocated to the project since its first edition in 2021 to 7.2 million. A sign of great passion for beauty and a sense of belonging to a history that unites, coming right on the eve of the 101st edition of the Opera Festival, which gets underway on Friday, 7 June 2024: the recent recognition of Italian opera singing as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage will be celebrated during a special evening in the presence of leading state officials. A further source of pride for the city of Verona and for Tecres, which feels strongly part of this community and its outlook on the world.
